Compared to 2020 results this is huge progress as I didn't really make it past CV screening hence 0 AC invites. 2020 was just a learning curve and to gain experience in the application process. I don't get nervous as I used to. In Sept 2021 I felt I had studied the application game enough to be successful for the 2022 intake. I had reviewed my CV 15 times and the practice of interviews in 2021 gave me huge confidence. It took about 15 interviews to reach my level of confidence right now. 2mins before the first 10 interviews my heart beat would skyrocket. I was sweating. Now I do no longer feel this pressure. I am somewhat relaxed. Progress like this is beautiful.
Feel more confident in ACs now. My first AC invite with Kerry my heart was beating hard for 1 hour straight when I saw the invitation email. I failed the group exercise because I was panicking so much I couldn't absorb the 5 pages of documents we was given during group task and nothing went in my head so nothing to report back to my team.
Almost all my ACs has the survival task as the group activity. In Unilever's group exercise they said I took the leadership role but I was lacking listening skills and lacking supply chain knowledge. It was important I didn't just throw in my points but also touch on/ expand on others points.
The only AC I passed was Veolia - I used their names, complimented their ideas and took the leadership role. Although I sucked hard at the role play exercise which involved analysing 8 pages of data 😕. Unfortunately I failed the next interview stage because I burped which was a bit harsh imo.
